Privacy Policy

Placements ("we", "us", or "our") operates free astrology calculators. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use our site.

1. Information We Collect

To calculate a chart, your browser sends the birth date, time and selected location coordinates to our calculation service. Place searches are sent to our location service and its search providers. Your browser also saves birth details locally so you can reuse them across tools.

• Usage statistics: We record how people use the dominant planet, Juno and Stellium calculators, including form use, successful or failed calculations, waiting times, rule changes, opening details and clicks to related tools. These statistics contain no birth details, chart results or user identifiers. They use no tracking cookies and are not sent when your browser has Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control enabled.
• Cookies: We use minimal cookies for site functionality only. No advertising or tracking cookies from third parties.
• Contact form: If you email us at support@astrologyplacements.com, we receive your email address and message content to respond.

2. How We Use Information

Any data we collect is used solely to improve the calculators, fix bugs, and respond to support requests. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with marketers or data brokers.

3. Data Retention & Security

Birth details saved in your browser remain there until you clear this site’s stored data in your browser settings. We keep usage statistics in records held by our hosting service, without birth details or chart results. Separately, our hosting and location providers may record information such as your IP address when you connect to their services. How long they keep these records depends on their own settings and policies.

4. Third-Party Services

Our site may link to external resources (for example, Wikipedia for sign descriptions). Those sites have their own privacy policies. We do not embed tracking pixels or social media widgets that share your activity.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete any information we hold about you. Because we store almost nothing, most requests are handled by simply not visiting the site. For any request, email support@astrologyplacements.com.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. The date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
